Cookie policy

Last updated August 4, 2026

Summary

Report960 uses a small number of first-party cookies and browser storage entries. They keep you signed in, remember your interface preferences, and record which page brought you to the site. We do not run third-party advertising trackers, and we do not load third-party analytics scripts on the marketing site or in the application.

Because none of this storage is used for cross-context behavioral advertising, no consent banner is required and there is nothing here to opt out of beyond your own browser controls.

What we store

Strictly necessary

These are required for the product to function. Blocking them will break sign-in.

  • Session token - stores your authenticated session so you are not asked to sign in on every page. Set by our authentication provider and cleared on sign-out.
  • Session enforcement signals - your browser and operating system are read from the request user agent, along with the originating IP address, to enforce the single-active-session rule described in the Privacy policy. This is read at sign-in rather than stored in your browser.

Preferences

These remember how you like the interface set up. Clearing them only resets those choices.

  • r960-theme - light or dark mode selection. Persists until cleared.
  • r960:reports-prefs - your My Reports view mode, sort order, and filters.
  • r960:reports-last-search - your most recent report search term.
  • r960:recent-reports - the list of reports you viewed most recently, used to populate the recent items in the command palette. Report identifiers only.

Attribution

  • r960_src and r960_src_at - first-party cookies that record the first Report960 page or referring site that brought you here, plus the date it happened. Read once at signup so we know which content produces accounts. Expires after 60 days. First touch wins, so the value is never overwritten.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • We do not embed advertising pixels, retargeting tags, or social media trackers.
  • We do not load third-party analytics scripts that profile you across other websites.
  • We do not use cookies to read report content. Report data lives in your account, not your browser.

Your choices

You can clear or block cookies and site data at any time through your browser settings. Removing the preference and attribution entries is harmless. Removing the session token signs you out.

California residents have additional rights over the personal information tied to their account, including access and deletion. See the Privacy policy for how to exercise them.

Changes

If we add a category of storage, this page is updated before that change ships, and the date at the top reflects it.
